The Picturesque and historical town of Mikulov with the castle, Saint Hill (Svatý kopeček), and other attractions cannot be passed without any attention on your journey around South Moravia.

Doubtless one of the most beautiful towns of South Moravia, it is situated 13 kilometres from Valtice. The town is easily reached either by car, by bus or train, or along the cycling paths which are becoming more and more popular. Mikulov has a nice perhaps Mediterranean atmosphere and is certainly worth a visit.
